It all started with a story. Many stories, in fact.
Tasha Hipwood grew up listening to the tales of polo’s heyday, shared by her uncle, Stewart B. Iglehart, son of legendary 10-goal player, Stewart Iglehart.

From 1930s Old Westbury, New York to 1950s Gulf Stream, Florida, these were glamorous and carefree times. To watch Sunday polo, Palm Beachers would bring their yachts down the intracoastal to Gulf Stream. It was du jour for guests - a fascinating combination of Old Hollywood, fashion editors and visitors from England, India and South America - to tap dance at high-spirited soirées.

S.B. Iglehart’s gift to Tasha documented the allure of the era: El Morocco’s Family Album of 1937.

Inspired by these enchanting times, and her own adventures abroad, Tasha Hipwood founded her namesake label to capture the playful essence of refined sporting style.
